‘The View’ co-hosts Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin call out Travis Kelce’s ‘red flags’ amid Taylor Swift romance: ‘What is he hiding?’

“The View” co-hosts Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin are skeptical of Travis Kelce’s intentions with Taylor Swift.

“Some of the things he said raised some red flags for me,” Hostin said of Kelce’s recent interview with WSJ. Magazine on Tuesday’s episode of the ABC talk show.

“He said, ‘The biggest thing to me: Make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away.’ What is he hiding then?”

The attorney added, “For me, I want to know the good, the bad and the ugly up-front.”

Hostin, 55, explained that she believes that by censoring himself, Kelce is “sending in his representative so that he doesn’t offend [Swift] in any way.”

“That’s not real life. Like, people offend you sometimes and they make you upset,” she added.

Haines, for her part, thought the biggest “red flag” was that Kelce “admitted to thinking about retirement” and said he “‘thinks about it nonstop more than anyone could ever imagine.’”

“He is huge in the football world, and then you go to Taylor Swift land, and I think that if you were thinking about next chapters, this would be lovely,” the “Chase” host, 46, pointed out.

“It’s a very comfortable next chapter,” Hostin agreed.

Their co-host Joy Behar asked for clarification, wondering, “What are you saying? He wants to retire to live off of her?”

Sara Haines speculated that Kelce is planning his “next chapters.”

“No, he has millions, but he’s, like, on a podcast, he likes comedy. I think he’s looking for a second act,” Haines responded.

Kelce found an unlikely person in his corner during the segment, though, when Behar backed him after previously calling him an “idiot” for his “disparaging comments” about women in old tweets.

“He was very sexist in his high school years,” the comedian, 81, said before adding, “But I give him a little bit of credit because she’s a major star and he seems to not be intimidated by that.”

Kelce recently told WSJ. Magazine that he has been thinking about retirement “nonstop more than anyone could ever imagine.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she “roots” for Kelce, 34, and Swift, 33, because she wants the Grammy winner to be “happy.”

She also credited the Kansas City Chiefs player for “pursuing” the pop star — which she said many male millennials no longer do.

“I like that intentionality,” Griffin, 34, said before Hostin pushed back on “why” Kelce was seemingly so interested given that his ex Kayla Nicole was “really hot.”

Behar then chimed in, “She wasn’t as famous as this one,” referring to Swift, to which the panel appeared to agree.

Kelce and Swift first sparked dating rumors in September when the “Cruel Summer” songstress attended the tight end’s football game alongside his mom, Donna Kelce.

Travis shared in his WSJ. Magazine interview that someone in Swift’s inner circle let the “Love Story” singer know he was interested.

“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: ‘Yo! Did you know he was coming?’ I had somebody playing Cupid,” he told the publication Monday.

“[The Cupid] told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”

Kelce told the publication that Swift texted him first to kick off their relationship, but he had made his feelings about her known.

Like Swift, Travis has been supportive of his new lover. Last week, he flew out to Argentina to attend her Eras Tour concert in Buenos Aires alongside her dad, Scott Swift.

The music icon’s father appears to approve of his daughter’s new beau, as he was seen aiming for a high-five when Taylor changed her “Karma” lyric during the show to honor Travis.

The couple’s Thanksgiving plans are still up in the air, but their parents are expected to meet one another soon.
