Jason Momoa is an avid motorcyclist — he got his first custom bike at 19 — who has a special love for vintage Harley-Davidsons. Just last October, Momoa bought three Harleys from the ’30s and ’40s, and now he’s continuing his exploration of that era of Harley history: his On the Roam outfit has collaborated with the vintage reproducers at The Real McCoy’s and Harley-Davidson itself to bring back the Cycle Champ leather jacket, a seminal Harley style that was originally in production from the ’40s through the ’60s.
The jacket that the trio reproduced is one of the earliest examples of the Cycle Champ, dating back to the early ’40s. Crafted of premium vegetable-tanned horsehide and made by The Real McCoy’s team of artisans, it features era-appropriate details ranging from custom brass studs to Harley’s signature D-pocket. It’s completed with a red satin lining and a special badge that salutes its limited nature.
If you’re looking to add the On the Roam x The Real McCoy’s x Harley-Davidson Cycle Champ jacket to your wardrobe, it’s available now via the HD Collections webstore now, and is priced at $2,400 USD.
