Last month, Harry Styles’ gender-neutral beauty brand, Pleasing debuted its first lineup of fragrances. The release centered on Rivulets, Closeness, and Bright, Hot — a trio of eau de parfums that evoke sensuous moods like a warm embrace to skin. Now, Pleasing has unveiled three scented candles in matching scents, color schemes, and names to its designated fragrance.
Just like the perfumes, the candles are crafted with the help of French fragrance manufacturer, Robertet. House in a two-tone keepsake glass bowl complete with a lid, each candle boasts eight ounces of natural soy wax blended with an optimized formula of its reference scent.
Rivulets presents a fresh and floral aroma as expressed through its top notes of ambrette seeds, lemon, and black pepper Madagascar. The lightness of the top notes is balanced by a calming and comforting whiff of white linen accord and poplin blossom. Meanwhile, Ambroxan and skin musk leave a lingering and velvety afterscent.
Contrastingly, the Bright, Hot Candle emanates a warm, woody mood that’s heightened with rich notes of plum and tobacco leaves. Orris butter and marine accord as middle notes provide an intriguing offset to the top layers before rounding out with cedarwood, tonka bean absolute, vanilla absolute Madagascar, and crisp amber for a dry yet sweet finish.
As for Closeness, the scent amalgamates warmth with moody, yet sensuous notes of wood and musk. At first whiff, the candle welcomes cardamom EO and clean sheets accord that’s enhanced with a kick of Australian pink pepper extract. Its subtle middle notes of orris butter, carrot seed, and bamboo then offer smooth transitions to the base aromas, which are comprised of Indian papyrus, cashmere woods, and salted musk.
Retailing for £80 GBP/ $83 USD, the candles are available to shop now on Pleasing’s official online store, along with its corresponding fragrances.
