Maryland-based retailer DTLR and Boston-based New Balance are teaming up for another sneaker release, this time a youth-exclusive 990v4 dubbed “Festive.”
As its name would suggest, the pair is inspired by the Holiday season and features a primarily vibrant green construction with bright red and silver accents. The red accents can be found at the laces, “990” branding, at the toe box and at the heel of the shoe framing the “NB” logo. As for the silver elements, they appear most prominently at the sides of the shoe, expressed through the classic “N” logo.
If the name and colorway of the shoe weren’t enough to indicate its Christmas-themed approach, DTLR and New Balance placed a Christmas tree graphic, adorned with snowflakes, at the insole of each pair — just to make sure you don’t miss it. All of this sits on top of a White and Green ENCAP midsole, layered on top of a White rubber outsole.
DTLR x New Balance’s 990v4 “Festive” is set to release November 27, exclusively via DTLR’s official site and will be available in youth sizes, including grade school, preschool and toddler — with retail ranging from $80 to $115 USD.
In other footwear news, the fragment design x Nike Air Force 1 Low has been revealed in black.
