Blue Ivy Joins Mom Beyoncé on the Red Carpet in the Coolest Asymmetrical Dress

Blue Ivy is showing her support for her mom in style!

Tonight, the 11-year-old joined Beyoncé for the red carpet premiere of the Renaissance World Tour concert film in London.

Blue showed why she’s the best-dressed tween in Hollywood by opting to wear a black Versace dress with a cool asymmetrical neckline, which extended into an off-the-shoulder detail accented by a gold chain. The dress additionally included ruched fabric at the side and a leg slit. She accessorized the look with a geometric black bag and black shades. See a fan-captured photo of her look here.

Meanwhile, Bey’s ultra-rare red-carpet appearance involved a bedazzled black blazer dress by Thom Browne with a dramatically long train, a plunging V neckline, and an eye-popping center leg slit. The slit was so high that it revealed a golden embroidered design on the piece’s matching black underwear. She completed her outfit with black platform lace-up boots and glittering drop earrings.

Blue was a major highlight of the Renaissance World Tour, often joining her mom and backup dancers to perform choreography in front of the sold-out stadiums. But, in Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, Beyoncé reveals that she almost didn’t let her elder daughter take the stage. “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” Beyoncé says in the film, per The New York Times.

The movie also discloses how negative comments about Blue’s debut performance in Paris, while disheartening to her mother, ended up fueling the girl’s motivation “to put in the work and train even harder for future stops.”
