Amsterdam-based label YUME YUME debuted its first ready-to-wear collection earlier this year, conveying sculptural silhouettes through “Dramatic Poetry.” For its second installment, YUME YUME reveals its Pre-Spring 2024 “Underwater Flow” range.
The brand explores forbidden landscapes across the womenswear collection, allowing the wearer’s capabilities to flow like water. Every garment balances delicacy with raw outlines, transforming them into wearable artworks that unleash creatures within. YUME YUME’s sophomore RTW collection dives into the unknown with puffed styles that mimic its trademark footwear designs.
Elevated maxi skirts are matched with skintight corsets in textured textiles, while glossy dresses receive bumpy edges that come alive in motion. Voluminous ruffles and bulging tulle collide across sensual womenswear, allowing a sneak peek of the skin beneath with sheer finishes. The label expands its footwear universe with fresh interpretations, debuting the new Sheer Ballerina in layered silk. YUME YUME’s enchanting Love Boot, Mini Love Boot, and Clog models shine in metallic vegan leather, while the low and high Fisherman Boot arrives with floral illustrations.
