Eric McCormack and Janet Holden’s marriage has come to an end after 26 years.
The “Will & Grace” alum’s wife filed for divorce on Wednesday, according to TMZ.
Holden reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” in her filing and sought spousal support.
She did not list her date of separation from the actor.
Page Six has reached out to McCormack’s rep for comment but has yet to hear back.
The Golden Globe nominee, 60, met Holden on the “Lonesome Dove” set in 1994.
“She was the assistant director,” McCormack told the Guardian in 2007, admitting that he “was just coming out of a relationship and not to be trusted.”
Holden, for her part, “wasn’t too keen” on her future husband when they first crossed paths.
However, McCormack felt Holden was “different” because she “wore jeans [and] drove a pick-up truck.” He “managed to convince her” to date him.

The couple kept their romance a secret due to Holden’s position, with McCormack telling People in 1998 that the “mystery and danger … was fun.”
In 1995, the duo went public. They tied the knot two years later and welcomed son Finnigan, now 21, in July 2002.
Before McCormack and Holden became parents, the Emmy winner began acting in “Will & Grace,” the long-running sitcom he is best known for.
The Broadway star played Will Truman from 1998 to 2006, going on to reprise the role from 2017 to 2020.
