Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, says he’s ‘embracing’ Taylor Swift’s fame and ‘likes attention’

Travis Kelce’s mom believes her son will be just “fine” as his high-profile romance with Taylor Swift continues making headlines.

“He likes attention,” Donna Kelce told “Good Morning America” viewers on Monday, noting that the athlete is “embracing” the fame “as much” as he can.

“I think the attention is just part of the whole thing. Obviously, [she] is a megastar,” she added.

“As long as he can handle it, I don’t have any problems with it,” the 71-year-old continued, going on to call Swift, 33, a “very nice person.”

Donna, who joked elsewhere in the interview that the public must be “tired of [her] family” by now, previously said that getting to know the Grammy winner has been “OK.”

The matriarch attempted to avoid “talk[ing] about it” on the “Today” show in October, but eventually said meeting the singer was “just another thing that’s amped up my life.”

Travis, 34, has been romantically linked to Swift since September, with the tight end detailing how their relationship began in a WSJ. Magazine cover story, published Monday.

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs player acknowledged Swift would “hate [him] for saying this,” he described having “somebody playing Cupid” and convincing the pop star to reach out to him.

“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner,” the “Catching Kelce” alum said. “She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”

Travis has gushed about the “Cruel Summer” singer on multiple occasions while filming his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason Kelce — and was even seemingly spotted texting her during ad breaks.

When Swift first supported Travis at an NFL game in September, he called her “ballsy” and praised the impression she made on his friends and family members.

Earlier this month, he broke down his trip to Argentina to watch her perform an Eras Tour show.

The former reality star expressed his “shock” that Swift changed her “Karma” lyrics to honor “the guy on the Chiefs” and called her onstage presence “electric.”

Although the songwriter was expected to attend Travis’ game against Jason’s team, the Philadelphia Eagles, her Saturday show in Brazil was postponed to Monday night due to extreme heat, which led to one concertgoer’s death.

Travis gave her a “shout-out” ahead of the performances.
