Taylor and Mariska just vibe like that.
Mariska Hargitay revealed on Instagram Thursday that she named her new cat Karma in honor of Taylor Swift, who years ago named her cat Olivia Benson after the actress’s character in “Law and Order: SVU.”
“Karma is a Cat @taylorswift,” Hargitay wrote, referencing the lyrics to Swift’s hit song. “Meet Karma. My Cat.🐱.”
The actress added the hashtags, “#MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat, #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawCleanand #KarmaIsACat.”
The 59-year-old shared several photos of her sweet new Siamese, showing the blue-eyed baby lounging on her bed with a pink collar.
Although this is Hargitay’s first kitty, Swift is also a proud cat mom to Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button.
Swifties were quick to flood Mariska’s comments section with praise for returning the love to the “Cruel Summer” singer.
“OMG 😂 this is the best name ever!! now Karma and Olivia needs to have a play date 😂👏🏽,” one person wrote.
“this is like inception, but with cats,” joked a second, to which another added, “this feels like a full circle moment.”
While a fourth simply called the name choice “epic,” another deemed Mariska the “ultimate Swiftie.”
Although Karma and Olivia Benson’s introduction seems to still be in the planning process, Hargitay already got the chance to meet Swift’s cat back in 2015.
In a since-deleted Instagram upload, Hargitay fed the white fluffy feline a treat while crouched on the ground next to her.
“This is Olivia Benson meeting Olivia Benson,” Swift narrated. “And things are going well so far.”
Swift has been a proud “SVU” fan for many years and the pair developed an unlikely friendship after meeting at the Met Gala.
“I met her at the Met Gala and I was so uncool,” Hargitay teased on “Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2015. “And she’s down there, she’s like, ‘Hi, I like your show!’ And I’m like, ‘Oh thanks!’ And I didn’t know that she was like the second coming, right?”
Hargitay, who noted that Swift was “so sweet,” explained that the two later ran into one another at a concert and the “Anti-Hero” singer offered to give her a ride home after learning the NBC star was stranded.
“Of course I didn’t have a ride home and we were somewhere so far out in Queens,” Hargitay explained.
“She was like a little angel and goes, ‘Do you guys need a ride?’” she recalled. “And then she drove us home.”
Yet their friendship didn’t stop there and few months later Swift asked the actress to make a cameo in her “Bad Blood” music video, which she obviously agreed to.
“It’s just so awesome, and it makes me feel super badass,” Hargitay gushed of the opportunity.
The pair have even remained close to this day and Hargitay even flew down to Nashville to support Swift during her Eras Tour stop over the summer.

During the show, the actress posted a video of herself singing along to “The Man” as well as “Shake It Off.”
“Thank you magnificent and miraculous @taylorswift for your magic,” she wrote. “It’s such a gift to be in your stunning, sparkly, powerful and délicate wonderland.”
“How do you make a stadium filled with with 70,000 people feel like your cozy living room♥️ You are pure magic! Thank you for exquisite talent, your courage and all your wisdom.”
