On Tuesday, up and coming rapper Sada Baby faced backlash after old tweets of his resurfaced online, which had people calling him homophobic, a colorist, and a bunch of other names. However, after reevaluating the situation, and his initial response to the backlash, Sada took to his Instagram account where he issued a formal apology.
In a video, he started off by saying, “My first initial response to the tweets on my story may give people the idea that I don’t sympathize with females that have been raped or raping situations. What ya’ll got to know is, I’m almost 30 years old and I don’t f*cking tweet, don’t got the password to my Twitter none of that. So them old views is the same light as them, Justin Bieber, he got caught singing/ saying ‘whoop whoop,’ all that other sh*t. I’m not switching the muthaf*ckin’ blame or light to nobody else, but that’s old sh*t you can’t judge me on.”
He continued to say that he is not homophobic, and nor a colorist, and provided real-life examples to provide his point as to why he is not either of those things.
He ended things off by saying, “I’m apologizing for my old views or any type of tweets I said from back in the day and I hope that nobody doesn’t hold any grudges on me. We just gon’ keep it pushing and just respect each other as such.”
As we previously reported, everything all started after he responded to a fan account about promoting his latest single, which is the remix to his chart-topping single “Whole Lotta Choppas,” featuring Nicki Minaj. Once he said to the fan account, “Suck my d*ck fa***t a** fan page,” that led to the tweets resurfacing.
