Since its 1975 founding, Oakley has become a world-class name in sports equipment gear. But out of its entire catalog, a select few particularly striking eyewear options surfaced from the company over the years – donning stars like Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and more. Now one of those signature styles, the MUZM Mars X-Metal Leather, is making a comeback after 25 years.
The reissued MUZM Mars X-Metal Leather first made its debut in 1998 and was designed with the help of basketball legend, Michael Jordan. The resurrected silhouette sees the original X-Metal alloy frame and is heightened by brown leather fabrics sewn into the frame. Complimenting the frame are the sunglasses’ warm-hued Prizim 24K lenses.
To bring back the silhouette, Oakley recreated the eyewear with a direct metal laser sintering 3-D-printing process. Specifically, the technique melts down X-Metal powder, which yields new structured forms. Just earlier this month, Oakley presented its new collaboration with Brain Dead – offering up a selection of futuristic eyewear and footwear.

Elsewhere in fashion, Telfar is giving away free shopping bags with a new “Gifted” program.
