norda has upgraded the 001 G+ for the upcoming chilly season. For the winterized version of its trail shoe, the Canadian brand prioritized comfort and durability, delivering a model constructed out of sleek black Bio-Dyneema.
Bio-Dyneema, which is used throughout norda’s lineup, is a lightweight, strong fiber, designed to keep shoe dry regardless of weather conditions. With the winterized edition, norda has also introduced a new material into the mix: graphene.
Billed as the “only material in the world with a Nobel prize,” graphene is derived from graphite and lends itself to lining the 001 G+.
The monochromatic black sneaker itself is a fairly straightforward design. A thick sole features a plate patterned with a Vibram design and layered over the woven body is a reflective suede overlay for increased visibility. norda recommends that buyers opt for a ½ size up from their normal fit.
Available on its website now, norda’s new 001 G+ is priced at $325 USD.
