New Balances Tosses 1906D “Protection Pack” in Fresh Hues

Since its debut in 2009, New Balance has been continuously updating its 1906D “Protection Pack” silhouette. Whether it be this silhouette or the 2002r, the “Protection Pack” editions continue to be a popular style for the sportswear giant due to its eye-catching layered and textured design. Now the brand is tossing the 1906D edition in two new hues.

Leading the charge is a timeless black hue. But even with the classic shade, the silhouette features subtle tonal elements due to the variations in leather and synthetic mesh fabrications used. Right on its heels is a silver metallic shade which also harbors a timeless, yet contemporary cadence.

Aside from color, the 1906D “Protection Pack” is inspired by the brand’s 2000’s runner. With it, the silhouettes include a tech-oriented construction comprised of an N-ergy shock-absorbing outsole alongside a stability web for arch support. Additionally, the shoe features an ABZORB midsole and ABZORB SBS hell for impact, cushioning, support and stability. Finishing off the shoe is the classic New Balance “N” logo appearing on the side and toe.

Take a look at the new hues in the gallery above. The new colorways of New Balances 1906D “Protection Pack” sneakers are set to launch online on December 1.
