‘Love Is Blind’ alum Giannina Gibelli ‘felt implantation’ when conceiving baby with Blake Horstmann

Giannina Gibelli claims she felt the moment she conceived her first baby, whom she’s expecting with boyfriend Blake Horstmann.

The couple revealed when and how they learned they’d be parents in an Amazon Live on Thursday.

“I pretty much felt implantation, you guys. Like, I am so in tune [with my body],” the “Love Is Blind” alum, 30, insisted.

Gibelli said she and the former “Bachelorette” contestant, 34, took a trip to Los Angeles, during which she got what she thought was her “time of the month,” noting that it was suspiciously “light.”

“We came back home, and I felt that fluttering. I felt like there was pressure. I’m like, ‘This is weird. I mean, I just got my period,’” she recalled.

“I felt that fluttering. I felt like there was pressure,” the “Love Is Blind” alum shared.

It was during a “dinner and a movie night” at home that Gibelli decided to take a pregnancy test, which she said was not an “abnormal” occurrence.

“We were just messing around. Like, ‘OK, this is gonna be fun,’” she shared, as Horstmann added, “She takes pregnancy tests quite often just to be sure.”

The Netflix personality, who was “already two glasses [of wine] deep,” kept telling herself the result would “be negative.”

“I was like, ‘Don’t mess with me. This is mean. Don’t mess with me,’” Horstmann recalled saying.

But when she came back to the counter and saw that it was positive, she “gasped.”

“I was like, ‘Don’t mess with me. This is mean. Don’t mess with me,’” Horstmann recalled saying, adding that he “could see it in her eyes” that she was being serious.

OB-GYN Dr. Jingwen Hou recently told Parents magazine that implantation occurs when a mature egg that’s been fertilized by sperm nestles itself into the uterine lining, which happens one to two weeks after ovulation and indicates the beginning of a pregnancy.

But the former “Bachelorette” contestant “could see it in her eyes” that she was being serious.

The cramping and bleeding Gibelli experienced were likely early signs of pregnancy as opposed to actual implantation, which Hou said does not produce physical symptoms.

Page Six previously confirmed that Gibelli and her Bachelor Nation beau began dating in January 2022 while competing on “All Star Shore” Season 1.

Three months later, the reality stars made their romance Instagram-official by sharing snaps from a romantic vacation to Spain.
