Earlier this week, Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand PLEASURES and world-renowned music group N.E.R.D came together to launch a special pop-up at BELOWGROUND in Hong Kong. The pop-up centered around a special capsule collection that highlights N.E.R.D.’s discography, impact, and essence. Comprised of 13 styles, the range features varsity jackets, T-shirts inspired by tracks off of In Search Of… (2002), and collaborative Modernica furniture pieces.
On now for three weeks, PLEASURES’ founders Alex James and Vlad Elkin, accompanied by Shay Haley of N.E.R.D interacted with fans to present the inventive collaboration of apparel and furniture. Highlighting its heavy music influence, PLEASURES celebrated the iconic hip-hop and rock outfit that powered a generation of people who straddle cultures, genres, identities, and expressions.
Aside from offering a pre-release of the collaborative collection, PLEASURES and N.E.R.D hosted a book signing with Big Shots! photographer and author Phillip Leeds, and held a special program with FM BELOWGROUND.
The N.E.R.D. x PLEASURES collection is available now at BELOWGROUND for three weeks, with a wider release on PLEASURES’ website and at select global retailers November 24, 10 a.m. PST.
