Kate Beckinsale admits there’s a lot of ‘rearranging’ involved in daring sheer dress

Looking this good takes some work.

Kate Beckinsale showed off a stunning sheer gown in photos from Paris Hilton’s Slivmas party she posted on Instagram Friday, wearing a floral-themed look that she told a fan took “a bit” of adjusting.

“When @parishilton says “dress festive” for her #Slivmas party (to celebrate the release of Paris in Love Season 2 Now streaming on Peacock) you must obey,” the 50-year-old “Serendipity” actress captioned her carousel of pics.

“💕Queen of pink rules💕 (I especially like that in the first picture , the cat , the handbag and I have all achieved the same expression),” she added, referring to the fuzzy Persian-shaped accessory she carried to match her cat, Willow.

In the photos, Beckinsale ditched her bra but covered up with strategically placed silver embellishments that extended down her dress in three lines, wearing just a pair of lavender panties underneath the look.

“I’m curious, do you have to spend the whole time rearranging your boobs and pants in dresses like these? I find it hard enough in regular clothes,” one fan wrote, adding, “Looking fabulous. X.”

“yeah there’s a bit of that I won’t lie,” Beckinsale replied.

She also told one person to “chill out” who called her “vulgar,” in classic cheeky fashion.

Along with her daring gown, the “Underworld” actress sparkled in a huge pair of diamond statement earrings and glittery platform heels, clutching the aforementioned feline-themed bag in the series of photos.

While the chic ensemble required some adjustments, it seemed to have paid off, with fans jumping in to compliment the look.

“I just opened insta to check on a soup recipe and here you are looking like this and now I have burnt my carrots. 😍👏🔥” one Instagram user wrote, with Beckinsale replying, “that made me snort thank you . One’s hope is always to singe a carrot.”

Others were more critical of the sheer ensemble, like one who wrote, “I train hard to stay in good shape but I haven’t dressed like this since my teens. At nearly 40 now I’d be terrified of the wrong attention a see through dress like this got lol.”

However, Beckinsale clapped back at the comment, writing, “I don’t go to Aldi in it.”

The “Van Helsing” actress is certainly a fan of a bare look, wearing everything from tiny bikinis to sheer gowns to a lace bodysuit with a huge veil over it.

With December officially here, we have a feeling there will be plenty more festive ‘fits to come from this star.
