While the NBA is known for hosting the highest level of basketball in the world, it also has a reputation of showcasing some of the most unique kicks thanks to the partnerships established between players and brands. Whether it be the reveal of a new signature shoe or the appearance of a special player exclusive, new shoes are often revealed during games and practices.
Earlier this week, Jeff Green and the Houston Rockets took on the reigning champs — the Denver Nuggets. Green, a longtime Jordan Brand athlete, caught eyes with the reveal of a previously-unseen PE — a chrome pair of Air Jordan 11s. Dazzling on the court, the shoe utilizes a chrome finish across its patent leather upper. A black Jumpman logo appears at the collar while white detailing hits the lining, laces and midsole, which rests atop a semi-translucent gray outsole.
At the time of writing, no information has been officially shared by Jeff Green or Jordan Brand as this Air Jordan 11 “Chrome” PE’s story remains a mystery for the time being. Stay tuned for updates as it could see additional action in the future, with a slight chance of someday touching down on shelves for the general public to enjoy.
