MSCHF has revealed its latest sneaker, the “Super Baby,” which appears to be a playful example of its Super Normal silhouette, designed in a chunky cartoon-like fashion.
As its name would suggest, the shoe is expected to be released in youth sizing. Additionally, it’s possible that a full-size run of the shoe will be available, based on a shoot that featured Lana Rhoades, an American podcaster, social-media personality and former adult film actress sporting the shoes with her son Milo.
The two can be seen wearing each of the colorways in their respective sizes, however, an adult size is not confirmed and the pairs Rhoades is seen wearing could just be a result of MSCHF’s playful Photoshop approach which it has deployed in the past.
As for design details, the Super Baby comes in three different iterations, the first of which is a subtle all-white leather design with minor red accents at the tongue, heel tag and insoles. The second design gets a bit more playful and features an array of primary colors. As for the Third design, it is the loudest of all, featuring a metallic upper construction with pink accents and heart graphics all over, as well as “MSCHF” written in a Barbie-esque font.
Lastly, it wouldn’t be a MSCHF shoe if it didn’t come dangerously close to copyright infringement, with logos at the heels presumably being inspired by the Little Tikes brand and the star in the “B” in “Baby” reminiscent of the star inside of the Toys R Us “R”.
While details on size availability has yet to be announced at the time of writing, MSCHF has shared that retail will be set at $250 USD and will be available via a draw mechanism on Monday, November 27, at 2:00 pm EST on its official site and via its Sneakers App.
