Edwin Enlists Peruvian Artist Jonathan Castro Alejos for FW23 Capsule

For Fall/Winter 2023, Edwin has enlisted Peruvian graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist Jonathan Castro Alejos for a collaborative capsule titled “Edwin Radiance.”

Taking inspiration from his exploration of sound, video, installation and performance, Castro’s work oscillates between the real and the fictitious, assembling and reassembling collected raw materials embedded with different qualities and identities to reconstruct them into surfaces, objects, visual languages, and soundscapes. For this particular collection, Castro combines his graphic design background with his visual interpretation of the sound and video through color and dimensions.

Utilizing a curated selection of Edwin staples, Castro uses the pieces as his canvas to artfully personalize the relaxed-fit Tyrell Pant, boxy Sten Zip Jacket and timeless Overshirt. The pieces all feature his abstract embroidery and are complemented with an oversized hood, black and fuschia Tees, and the Watch Cap Beanie. The collection also includes a limited edition tote.

The Edwin x Jonathan Castro Alejos capsule is now available at select retailers and online.
