Dior Treks to Snow-Capped Mountains for New “DiorAlps” Capsule Campaign

As ski season’s commencement nears, Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri has crafted an opulent collection of cold-weather-ready wares for on (and off!) the slopes. The capsule, titled “DiorAlps,” offers an ode to “the magic of the mountains and the splendors of winter” with a bounty of powder-prepped ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories.

On the outerwear front, Dior presents the Reversible Long Down Jacket, which is made in blue and ecru with quilted technical taffeta and flaunts the Dior Oblique motif. Across the collection, the signature jacket is altered to appear in hooded, cropped and sleeveless iterations. In addition to the classic Dior Oblique-covered silhouettes, the French Maison also centers its Dior Star motif on several three-toned coats.

The line includes two footwear offerings: the DiorAlps Snow Ankle Boot and the D-Wander Sneaker. The former design is equipped to take on the snow with a cross-laced nylon upper and a textured EVA sole, while the latter silhouette would be ideal for après-ski, with a lightweight construction and adjustable straps.

Rounding out the range, the Dior Oblique iconography, in blue jacquard, commands a number of book totes, box bags, saddle pouches, travel kits, phone holders, beauty pouches, wallets and card holders.

Dior’s new DiorAlps capsule collection is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore. Prices range from $500 USD to $7,100 USD. Take a closer look at the line in the gallery above.
