Roommates, y’all know what they say, “mo’ money mo’ problems!” Mase and Diddy weren’t lying at all! It seems like DaBaby is facing issues in his boujee neighborhood in Troutman, North Carolina, just 35 miles north of Charlotte. His neighbors aren’t used to having a pop star in the community and haven’t been adjusting to him well.
Since living in the small town for less than a year, there have been 31 calls for service at DaBaby’s $2.3 million estate since his arrival in December 2019. According to The Charlotte Ledger, Iredell County’s emergency communications office says — out of the calls, over ten instances have been from burglar alarms going off, and four noise complaints, and at least two domestic arguments.
The reports show that an argument took place between him and his child’s mother #Meme in January of this year, which resulted in her pouring bleach on $10,000 worth of his clothing, including a $1,600 pair of Gucci dress pants, three hooded sweatshirts valued at $2,000, a $550 pair of Burberry shorts, a $900 pair of Balenciaga sneakers, and a $300 Detroit Pistons jersey, according to a police report. She was cited for property damage.
The police showed up again at his home on April 22, when DaBaby called 911 on Meme to report that she was drunk and destroying his house after drinking too much. He told police he locked himself in the master bedroom to avoid conflict as she yelled and kicked down the door.
Additional records show noise complaints on March 27, April 8, May 9, and Sept. 1, but have no available details for those incidents. Other anonymous complaints were made about construction at DaBaby’s estate including new guard towers, a concrete wall, and bright stadium-style lights.
Roomies, do you think the neighbors are hating?
