Chad Michael Murray doesn’t deny Erin Foster’s claim he cheated on her with Sophia Bush

Chad Michael Murray isn’t denying his ex-girlfriend Erin Foster’s claim that he cheated on her with his future wife Sophia Bush.

While the actor admitted to having a lot of “regrets,” he dodged a question about whether he had been unfaithful to Foster in a new interview.

“It’s not one of those things that I want to go down the road of because there’s just never a winner,” he told E! News Monday.

“I feel blessed to be where I am right now. … I live in the now, I live in the present, I live in the future.”

Murray, 42, noted that his life has “changed so dramatically” since he was “a young man,” so he chooses not to harp on the past.

“I don’t think you’ll ever find me saying anything negative or hurtful about anybody,” he said. “I never will. That’s just not me. I’m not going to do it.”

The “A Cinderella Story” star dated the daughter of David Foster from 2001 to 2002 before marrying Bush, his “One Tree Hill” co-star, in 2005.

“I have more regrets in my life than I care to think about, but I don’t live in the past,” he reiterated.

“I try to move forward every single day and just go, ‘I got air in my lung, life in my step, the will to move forward and the sun’s gonna rise on a beautiful tomorrow.’”

Murray’s decidedly cryptic response comes one month after Erin, 41, claimed the former teen heartthrob had cheated on her with Bush, also 41, during their brief relationship.

“He definitely did cheat on me with her in, like, a pretty egregious way — while we were living together,” she said on “The World’s First Podcast.”

The “Barely Famous” star jokingly called the alleged infidelity “pretty cool” before laughing it off.

“I’ve moved on, though,” she said. “I’m over it now. I mean, just barely. Just barely over it.”

Murray’s marriage to Bush also ended up being short-lived, as they separated just five months after tying the knot and officially divorced in 2006.

Murray went on to find love with his “Chosen” co-star Sarah Roemer, whom he wed in 2015 and shares three children with.

Bush, for her part, later dated another “One Tree Hill” co-star, James Lafferty, as well as her “Chicago P.D.” castmate Jesse Lee Soffer and her longtime friend Grant Hughes.

She and Hughes, 42, said “I do” in June 2022; however, she filed for divorce one year later.
