Earlier in the year, U.K.-based label YMC launched a collaboration with heritage sportswear label Umbro that took inspiration from the sport of rugby with contemporary pieces that scored both on and off the field. Now, YMC is presenting its latest collaboration, this time with fellow British label Barbour for a motorcycle-inspired offering that taps into military and workwear influence.
Drawing its main inspiration from the workwear garments that were worn by workers in the early ’50s, the new collection is split into three categories that cover all things outerwear, clothing, and accessories. Collection highlights include the durable worker jackets that come in “Charcoal Snake Print” and “Sand” colorways and arrive with detachable hoods, bellow pockets, and cozy quilted lining. Other stand-out pieces include the “Dirt Gang Casual Jacket” which features classic stud front fastenings along with a shaped collar. Rounding off the collection, a melange of fleece hoodies and patch pocket cotton trousers will also be available, along with accessories such as a pouch bag that is coming in three different hues. Finally, the YMC x Barbour collaboration also welcomes a waxed cotton sports cap that comes with fold-down and cord-lined ear flaps.
You can have a closer look at the YMC x Barbour collaboration above and it will be available on the official YMC website and select retailers from September 20.
