For Spring/Summer 2023, Wasted Paris continues to explore its skate culture and youth-focus influences with its “From Nowhere” collection.
This time around, the French streetwear brand looked into the skate scene in ‘90s New York for inspiration. Leading its lineup are centerpieces such as motif-emblazoned varsity jackets and full-zip hoodies that exude an oversized yet anonymous mood.
New outerwear styles have also been introduced in the form of a faded denim hoodie jacket — a design that was sparked by archive images of Brooklyn Banks. The label also refreshes its assortment of baggy pants with updated signature details like a black leather label. In addition, newly introduced prints and patterns can be spotted on pieces such as the Army Method Sweater, Top Drew Allover Method, and Body Bully Method.
With “From Nowhere,” Wasted Paris aims to amalgamate essences of ‘90s skate and hip-hop culture, while also serving as a tribute to iconic bands like Beastie Boys, but notably, Larry Clark and Harmony Korine’s 1995 coming-of-art movie, Kids.
Prices range from €15 – €290 EUR (approximately $16 – $309 USD), the collection is now available for purchase at Wasted Paris’ official website. Take a closer look at some of the highlighted pieces in the gallery above.
