The Toggle Trend Continues on the Nike Air Max 97

25 years have elapsed since Nike debuted the Air Max 97. In that time, countless colorways and collaborations have graced the classic silhouette. Celebrating this, the Swoosh has brought back iconic looks such as the “Silver Bullet” and “Gold Bullet” colorways while also introducing an array of new colorways, including two in collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS. Now, yet another look has surfaced with a toggle on the lacing system that has been recently utilized on other sneakers such as the Air Force 1 Low.

Arriving in “Black/White-Light Silver-Coconut Milk,” this Air Max 97 blends off-white tones with black on its layered upper. A mix of suede, mesh and leather outfit the upper as hits of off-white land on the Swooshes, midsole, tongue, laces, trim and one of the upper’s stripes. 3M reflectivity is found on two of the stripes towards the collar while a blue translucent outsole completes the look.

Look for this toggle equipped Nike Air Max 97 to hit shelves in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at an expected price of $190 USD.
