Shannen Doherty received a standing ovation at 90s Con over the weekend amid her ongoing battle with brain cancer.
The actress appeared on a “Beverly Hills, 90210” reunion panel for the popular ’90s teen drama alongside co-stars Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris, and became teary-eyed while discussing her diagnosis.
“Thank you so much,” an emotional Doherty, 52, said to the crowd in Tampa, Fla. (via People).
“You guys know how much I love crying constantly. And I do, it seems. So, thank you.”
The “Charmed” alum sadly revealed in June that her breast cancer had spread to her brain. She also shared that she secretly underwent surgery months prior to remove the tumor and begin radiation treatments.

“I have a fight for my life, that I deal with every day,” Doherty said on Sunday. “I think I am really great.”
The “Heathers” actress, who appeared in positive spirits, also made light of her divorce from her third husband, Kurt Iswarienko.
“My other profession is getting engaged, married and divorced, and I’m doing that very well,” said the star, who split from the photographer in April after 11 years of marriage.

Her rep told Page Six at the time that divorce was the “last thing Shannen wanted,” but “she felt she was left with no other option.”

The publicist also claimed Iswarienko’s female agent had been “intimately involved” in the estranged couple’s separation.

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and entered remission two years later. Unfortunately, her cancer returned as stage 4 in 2020.
“I’m doing better than OK. I’m doing well,” she said after sharing the news. “I feel strong and healthy and confident and happy.”
The “No One Would Tell” actress hasn’t allowed her cancer to slow her down as she spent the summer dining out with friends and vacationing in Italy, where she looked completely relaxed.
