The walk heard around the world.
Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford made their triumphant return to the runway for the star-studded Vogue World event in London Thursday, to the delight of fans.
The ‘90s icons guaranteed London Fashion Week was off to a strong start by closing the Vogue show onstage while Annie Lennox performed a “Sweet Dreams” medley backed by the London Community Gospel Choir.
For the A-list event, Naomi, 53, rocked a forest green high-necked Alexander McQueen gown with ab-baring cutouts while Cindy, 57, looked as glam as ever in a nude Versace dress with crystal embellishments.
Christy, 54, strutted in a one-shoulder silver Fendi couture gown and Linda, 58, was shining in a voluminous silver cold shoulder custom Valentino dress from the autumn/winter 2023 collection.
While Naomi is still a runway regular, having just designed and modeled a collection with fast fashion brand Pretty Little Thing for New York Fashion Week, the rest of the supers don’t often return to the catwalk.
The reunion is just in time for the upcoming four-part documentary “The Super Models” on Apple TV+, which airs on September 20 and sees the foursome delve into their long careers in the industry.

Linda has been open about how a botched CoolSculpting cosmetic procedure left her “brutally disfigured,” which sent her into hiding for many years until she returned to the runway to close out the Fendi show during New York Fashion Week last September.
Cindy’s daughter Kaia Gerber has followed in her model footsteps and Ed Burns and Christy’s daughter Grace Burns made her runway debut in June during the British Vogue x LuisaViaRoma show in Florence, Italy.
This dramatic performance proved the quartet is always runway ready.
