Queen Elizabeth’s most glamorous photos with celebrities during her reign

During Queen Elizabeth II’s record 70 years on the throne, she’s met an array of international luminaries.

Since Queen Elizabeth II was crowned at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953, the second-longest reigning monarch — behind France’s King Louis XIV, who took the throne at age 4 — has become acquainted with an impressive array of luminaries, from American presidents to Oscar-winning actors to fashion giants.

Here are the most iconic photos of A-listers bowing down to Her Majesty the Queen, who passed away on Thursday at age 96.
