“Galaxy” is the latest cut lifted off Quavo‘s Rocket Power to get the visual treatment. In the new music video, the rapper takes to the serene Dominican Republic to kick it with the locals.
The Atlanta rapper meanders around the lively town – fitting right in with its vibrant color palette in his standout slew of outfits. He flaunts around a local lover, impressing her with flowers and a meal with a side of his smooth vibrato. “We twenty deep on the island / Missing my blood, my dog, my flesh (flesh) / Workin’ my one, just vibin’ / Never let the next man know what’s next (no) / Backend come to my nest Lil’ bad b*tch wanna be a part of my flex,” he closes out the sleek first verse. Quavo has shown no signs of slowing down since Rocket Power‘s release, having already dropped off videos for “Hold Me”, “Disciples”, and most recently, “11.11”. Rocket Power is available to stream everywhere now – with “Galaxy” as the twelfth track.
Elsewhere in music news, Diddy is set to return to the Video Music Awards’ stage this year – to perform for the first time in nearly two decades and to receive this year’s Global Icon Award.
