Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian revealed she needed “urgent fetal surgery” to save her unborn baby boy’s life.
The “Kardashians” star shared a black-and-white photo of her husband, Travis Barker, holding her hand on Instagram Wednesday and said she “wasn’t prepared” for the health emergency following three “really easy” pregnancies.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock,” Kourtney captioned the emotional photo.
“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
Kourtney, 44, said she was crippled with “fear” rushing into the surgery that would ultimately save their baby’s life.

“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” the reality star continued.
“I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
The Lemme founder concluded her message thanking God for her and her baby’s health and allowing them to leave the hospital with a growing baby.

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing 🙏🏼🤍,” she ended.
Barker and his band, Blink-182, postponed their European tour last week after the drummer had to rush back to Los Angeles to deal with an “urgent family matter.”

Just days later, Kourtney and Barker were photographed leaving the hospital, with Kourtney still visibly pregnant.
A source told People magazine that Kourtney had a “brief” stay in the hospital but was back at home feeling better.
“She is happy to have Travis back home, too,” the insider shared.
