Prada's Re-Nylon Gloves Are a Must This Season

Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada have singlehandedly made the glove this season’s statement accessory — take a look at Prada‘s Fall 2021 runway if you need reminding — and the latest pair might just be the best, albeit most classic, thus far.

Made from the house’s signature Re-Nylon material — a sustainable form of nylon that has played a huge part in Prada’s recent identity shift — the gloves appear in a signature black tone alongside emblematic triangular branding on the cuffs, made from metal that’s placed atop of Saffiano leather.

Toggles on the left of the glove allow you to customize the tightness of the cuff, while carabiners on the right sides lock together to keep the gloves safe when not in use. Further adjustments can be made by pulling the webbing straps in tighter on the underside of the glove, where you’ll also find shiny silver metal Prada-branded clasps alongside lamb leather palms and fingers. Rounding out the pair is a lining made using soft fleece to keep you warm on those particularly cold days.

Prada’s padded Re-Nylon gloves in black retail for $540 USD on Très Bien (although if you’re quick, there is a discount code applied at the checkout for Black Friday).
