The highly-anticipated Nike Air Max 1 “Corduroy” has finally landed on retail shelves globally. Made up of strong “Baltic Blue” textiles, the offering has caught the eyes of fans far and wide, including Amsterdam-based retailer Patta, who took over the capital in celebration.
To commemorate the launch, Nike and Patta enlisted several international musicians and DJs to create uptempo beats inside Amsterdam’s legendary club, Garage Noord. Yesterday, the event welcomed curator Passion DEEZ, joined by London-based musician Bluetoof and Daddy Long Dick, to smash out bass-heavy tunes that made walls vibrate in excitement.
Furthermore, the club’s second floor saluted four local acts leading the city’s musical domain. Indie artists Jespfur and Hothead graced the arena’s intimate stage with several live performances to remember, while Pamela co-founder Lola Edo and Cawd Slaydaz laid down booming tracks in individual DJ sets.
