We’re still over a month out from the start of the 2023-24 NBA season and brands such as Nike Basketball are taking advantage of the break to introduce its upcoming lineup of releases. Just yesterday, the brand not only revealed its 25-piece holiday showcase, but it also officially unveiled Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 and LeBron James’ Nike LeBron 21.
Now, the LeBron 21’s lead “Akoya” colorway has been presented with a full set of imagery ahead of its release later this month. The oyster shell-inspired build sees a “Light Bone” grace a majority of the upper with “Campfire Orange” underlining the lateral Swoosh, appearing at the tongue’s signature hit and covering the heel’s linework. The Cushlon 2.0 foam-equipped sole unit begins with an off-white midsole that is then backed by a semi-translucent outsole in a milky white.
For those interested in picking up a pair, get ready as the Nike LeBron 21 “Akoya” is scheduled to release on September 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $200 USD.
Enjoy a complete breakdown of the pair above and for more of the latest updates from the world of sneakers, a closer look at the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba” has popped up ahead of its anticipated release in December alongside the “Reverse Grinch.”
