The Zoom Vomero 5 has seen a second wind as of late as Nike successfully brings the silhouette back into the fold with a number of creative colorways such as the “Doernbecher” and “Timeless” hybrid. After a “Light Bone” colorway was teased earlier this month, we now receive news of a “Lavender” take on the retro runners.
Found in “Lavender,” “White,” and “Grey” tones, the upcoming pairs feature mesh netting underlays with grated synthetic side panels, protruding lateral Swooshes, and triangular gridded heels. Tongue tabs feature Nike Vomero 5 branding and insoles incorporate Bowerman Series graphics of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman in a suit and tophat. Rounding out the look are tick white midsoles and carbon-heavy BRS 1000 treaded black outsoles.
Take a closer look at the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Lavender” above and look for the pairs to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers for $160 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, ASICS GEL-Nimbus 9 surfaces in “Candy Floss.”
