Nike Basketball has not held back this September. On top of its usual slate of reveals, last week saw the division announce two new signature shoes — for LeBron James and Devin Booker respectively — alongside showcasing a 25-piece holiday preview. Now, the previously-revealed Nike KD 16 takes center stage once again with a new “Triple Red” finish.
As the name indicates, there’s a whole lot of red spread across this version of Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoe. In an almost-pink “Ember Glow” and “University Red,” the KD 16 emphasizes its sleek build with standard co-branding arriving courtesy of the tongue’s “KD” hit and the heel’s “EASY” note. Underneath, the outsole features the KD 16’s gear-shaped traction to ensure court-readiness.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not disclosed any release details pertaining to this “Triple Red” flavor of the KD 16. However, it’s currently expected to touch down on shelves at some point during October via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $160 USD.
