Nike Air Tuned Max “Smoke Grey” Only Leans on Grayscale Colors

The beauty of the Nike having such a long list of classic models is that it can literally bring any of them back at any given moment. 2021 marked the revival of the Nike Air Tuned Max — a Sportswear silhouette that first launched in 1999. And after distributing out retro styles like the “Celery” and the “Midnight” Navy”, its now being proffered up in a minimal “Smoke Grey” color scheme.

As indicated by its moniker, this forthcoming iteration is only dependent on a collection of grayscale hues for its design. Mesh underlays, along with the laces and interior lining are dressed in black, while its titular shade is applied to the suede tongue overlays and sporty molds that affix to the quarter panels. However, the most striking feature of these kicks is the overlays that are stationed along the forefoot and heels as they all have “Metallic Silver” finishes. Chiseled midsoles are dyed with a muted gray and house a translucent Air unit inside the rear.

You can view detailed shots of the shoes in the gallery here above, and note that they will be dropping via SNKRS and select retailers come July 27 for $170 USD.
