norda has been on a roll in 2023, debuting its new 002 silhouette, announcing a partnership with ZEGNA and cranking out even more colorways of its popular 001. With a firm foothold in the trail running community — their goal is making the world’s best trail running shoes, after all — and increasing attention in the lifestyle sphere as well, norda’s buzz is continuing to grow, and now they’re going laceless for the first time as a new slip-on silhouette was revealed recently.
At Chamonix 2023, the latest installment of the world-renowned trail running event that went down earlier in September, Techunter snapped a photo of a never-before seen norda silhouette sans laces. The yet-to-be-named model’s overall shape is nearly identical to the 001, and, based on the photo, it appears to feature the same premium combination of Vibram SLE midsole foam, Litebase and Megagrip outsole technologies and a custom bio-based Dyneema upper as its predecessor. However, besides its new slip-on construction it also offers a slightly different heel overlay and a new heel tab with a loop instead of a pull. Color scheme wise, it displays an earthy mixture of black, grey and white.
Though there’s currently no info regarding this shoe’s exact tech specs or release date (it could well be a sample), more info is likely to surface soon — so keep it locked here for updates as they’re made available.
