English rock band New Order has been announced as the final headliner for Primavera Sound‘s 2023 festivals in Madrid and Barcelona this summer.
Formed by Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Stephen Morris following the death of Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis, the ’80s group has continued to produce genre-defining tunes throughout its 40-year history and is one of England’s most celebrated performers.
Gearing up to take the stage at the renowned Spanish festival, New Order will be joined by additional international headliners, including Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Calvin Harris, and Depeche Mode. Held in two cities for the first time in history, Primavera Sound 2023 will also welcome Central Cee, Pusha T, Loyle Carner, Baby Keem, Skrillex, FKA Twigs, The War on Drugs, Arlo Parks, and many more — totalling over 200 performances per location.
