After releasing a skin-colored range back in 2021, Midorikawa has now reunited with Suicoke for another Vibram® FiveFingers offering. The Spring/Summer 2023 release continues to rework the instantly-recognizable footwear style with realistically painted toenails.
The Midorikawa x Suicoke SS23 Vibram® FiveFingers shoe serves as a playful, tongue-in-cheek take on the highly functional footwear.
Offered in “Black,” “Black/Pink,” “Light Ivory,” and “Light Ivory/Pink” colorways, the NIN-LO model features technical mesh and neoprene uppers bonded with heat-welded seals, branding at the vamp, stitched collars, and velcro closures at the rear. Finishing up the design of the shoe are Vibram® treaded sole units that highlight the split toe design marked by painted toenail detailing.
Priced at $300 USD, the Midorikawa x Suicoke SS23 Vibram® FiveFingers release will be available March 15, 6 p.m. EDT on Suicoke’s website.
