She shines again.
Michelle Yeoh hit the Oscars 2023 red carpet Sunday night wearing a white Dior Haute Couture gown with a mesh illusion neckline and layers of delicate, fluttering feather fringe.
The Malaysian-born star, 60, accessorized the timeless hand-sewn gown with a diamond necklace (styled as an angelic headband) and dangling earrings from Moussaieff Jewellers.
Yeoh shared snaps of the dress on Instagram before she arrived on the red carpet, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her ethereal ensemble.
Yeoh is the first Asian Best Actress nominee for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
The A24 hit leads this year’s nominations with a whopping 11 in total; it’s also up for Best Picture, Best Director (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Costume Design (Shirley Kurata), Best Film Editing (Paul Rogers), Best Original Score (Son Lux), Best Original Song (“This Is a Life” by Ryan Lott, David Byrne and Mitski) and Best Original Screenplay (Kwan and Scheinert).
It’s been a banner awards season (not to mention a very stylish one) for Yeoh, who attended the 2023 SAG Awards in February wearing a black Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress with an artful spray of gold sequins running down the front.
The avant-garde gown sparked comparisons to shredded paper, french fries and more on social media throughout the night.
And in January, Yeoh topped Page Six Style’s Golden Globes best-dressed list with her strapless midnight blue peplum gown from Armani Privé.
