Coming together for a unique limited-edition capsule collection, MARKET and GUESS Originals have put together a special range that looks at the archives of GUESS. Delving into the ’80s, the collaboration sees the return of the GUESS mascot, Foxy.
Bringing back Foxy in a new short film and the “Foxy Capsule,” the duo has mixed GUESS’ youthful, heritage-inspired blueprint with MARKET’s pop culture and streetwear outlook. The “Foxy Capsule” features premium fabrics with expressive prints, and vintage inspirations for a retro expression.
Throughout the collection, unique patchwork highlights a lived-in aesthetic along with careful distressing on the oversized, relaxed, and acid-wash jeans. The denim wear is accompanied by a range of sweaters, graphic tees, trucker hats, socks, and more.
“Our collaboration with GUESS was inspired by our love of vintage and repurposed clothing. We wanted to reproach this character and put him into our world. We thought, what would Foxy be like if he had his own clothing shop? Foxy’s inspiration is a reflection of current DIY maker culture, showing that anyone can be a creator, encouraging self-expression and a DIY attitude,” said Mike Cherman, Founder of MARKET.
