Lil Pump released his self-titled debut LP over five years ago. Lil Pump, the album, marked the young rapper’s transition from SoundCloud notoriety to the beginnings of a mainstream career, bringing his music before a larger listenership
That album was followed by 2019’s Harverd Dropout and just a year later, the rapper said that he would be putting out the follow-up to his debut record.
Although Lil Pump began teasing the project in 2020, it never came to fruition. Now, in 2023, however, the rapper has returned to tell fans that he still plans to deliver Lil Pump 2.
Thankfully, listeners won’t have to wait very long, with Lil Pump sharing on social media that the LP is slated to drop on Friday, March 17.
A tracklist for Lil Pump 2 details that NBA YoungBoy, Smokepurpp, Ty Dolla $ign, G4 Boyz and Rio Da Yung OG will all make appearances on the LP, which will span 16 songs.
“LIL PUMP 2 ABLUM MARCH 17th,” he wrote in the caption. “LOVE YALL ESSKEETIT.”
Lil Pump 2 is out for streaming everywhere on Friday, March 17.
