Like the “Titanic,” crowds are wondering if Leo’s latest project is destined to sink.
Rumor mills are running wild and wooly with the alleged news that consummate lady killer, actor, model lover and apex Scorpio Leonardo DiCaprio is in the early stages of courting runway queen, tastemaker, Taurus and knitwear clothing line designer Gigi Hadid.
Multiple sources confirmed to People on Monday that the “Titanic” star, 47, and supermodel have been spending time “getting to know each other” in New York City.
DiCaprio is recently single after his split with model, dog co-parent and Gemini Camila Morrone who turned 25 this summer, the age when DiCaprio historically cuts loose the women in his life.
Hadid, who turned 27 on April 23, 2022 is a departure for DiCaprio in many ways, including age bracket. The model has been seemingly single since ending her relationship with Zayn Malik, father of her two year old daughter Khai.
Astrologically speaking, Hadid and DiCaprio are a case of opposites attract. Taurus and Scorpio are a pair of polarities, meaning they sit directly across from one another on the zodiac wheel.
Sex and equally stubborn natures are the foundation of this match. In terms of elemental interaction, Scorpio, as a water sign, nourishes Taurus, an earth sign, inviting them to wade more fully into feeling. Taurus meanwhile, encourages Scorpio to brood less and enjoy more.
The Ex Factors

A deep dive into DiCaprio’s illustrious dating history reveals that outside of Miranda Kerr, whom he was briefly linked to, our dude has never courted a Taurus woman. In addition to Geminis like Morrone and ex Bar Refaeli, he’s kept company with Cancers like Gisele Bündchen, Virgos like Blake Lively and a Pisces powerhouse like Rihanna.
For her part, Hadid seems to have a Capricorn habit, both Zayn Malik and Cody Simpson are sea goats, and in a Freudian twist, so too is her mother Yolanda Hadid. Beyond DiCaprio, Hadid has never been linked to a scorpion. This relationship dynamic and astrological energy exchange will be a new challenge for DiCaprio and Hadid, neither of whom have ever been married. Regardless of how it shakes out both are bound to be altered by the experience.

Fixed sign fixation
The attraction between Taurus and Scorpio is a combination of curiosity and carnality. What intrigues one about the other is the vast differences between them. Both signs require absolute allegiance and crave deep companionship, making for a solid albeit intense pairing. This is a highly sensual, deeply sexual and all consuming kind of romance. Taurus, ruled by Venus, goddess of love and beauty, wants to be worshipped and Scorpio, ruled by Pluto planet of death and Mars, planet of war, wants to wholly possess, body and soul, the object of their desire.
What these signs share is a stalwart dedication to their own agendas and a habit of emotionally stonewalling their significant others when they are hurt or feeling vulnerable. Neither Scorpio nor Taurus gets points for transparency or direct communication and both signs are wounded and then resentful when their partners cannot read their minds or intuit their needs.
Scorpio is about power and control and bulls don’t back down. Both Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs, meaning they dig deep and hold on tight. This translates to a formidable stubborn streak and a strong sprinkling of spite across both parties. Neither is aces at apologizing and would rather eat their own hair than admit fault. On the upswing, fixed signs are devoted and willing to suffer and strive, for better or worse, in the name of love. Essentially, when it’s good it’s magic and orgasms and soul synergy and blood binding and when it’s bad it is abject hell. No one blinks or bends, everyone seethes and the tension is visible from space.
In myth, this pairing is symbolized by the union of death daddy Hades, god of the underworld (Scorpio energy incarnate) and flower smelling, field frolicking, spring bringing fertility goddess Persephone (Taurus).
In addition to his sun, Leo has Venus, planet of desire and Mars, planet of drive, in Scorpio. This is a sign that expects loss and awaits betrayal, which makes it very, very hard for these folks to trust others fully. In many ways, Taurus is a balm for these fears and anxieties because bull people endure and are noted for their loyalty. Both signs value privacy and require a well appointed cave in which to retreat from the world, the need for which is exacerbated by fame. For Hadid that retreat is her farm in Pennsylvania and for Leo, it’s any number of properties, including, but not limited to his private island off the coast of Belize
Hadid has her Mars in fixed, fire dancing, limelight lapping Leo, which squares DiCaprio’s Mars in Scorpio. In astrology, square aspects are both challenging and transformative. This is an extremely charged dynamic with strong conquerer vibes, little compromise, constant tension and a lot of hate sex.
Mars square Mars is also present in the synastry of Pamela Anderson and her ex-husband Tommy Lee. Cue the yikes. The key to making the most of this square is to honor the power of your partner not by engaging or testing it but taking time away from it. Otherwise, the risk for burnout, burned bridged, and rage blackouts is high.
It’s too soon to know what the future holds for these genetically superior star babies but we wish them riotous joy and the healing, high flying love they so richly deserve. Live long, love well and get it on.
Reps for Bella Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio could not immediately be reached by The Post for comment.
