LeBron James is currently in his 20th season as a professional hooper, and Nike is honoring his legacy by taking things back to his first silhouette: the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Multiple colorways of the court-ready silhouette are slated to release in the coming months to celebrate its two-decade anniversary, and the latest to be unveiled is this “Dark Grey” iteration.
While the color story for this basketball installment is bereft of any wild color-blocking or unique graphics, it gets its power from its build that features more elevated materials than its OG styles. The larger overlay piece that covers the toe boxes and heightened parts of the side walls is made up of a premium nubuck that’s doused with a “Wolf Grey” hue. Backdrops of the quarters and collars are fitted in its titular shade for a muted contrast while the toe tips arrive with a buttery suede build. James’ moniker is housed inside the dark-tinted tongue labels while his signature crown logo adorns the throat.
Check out a closer look at the pair in the gallery above and expect these to touch down in the coming months for $190 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, a spring-ready Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Lavender” colorway has been revealed.
