After releasing the Zionic sneaker — its fastest and lightest trail shoe to date, Portland-based footwear label KEEN is uniting with Hiking Patrol(R) to reimagine its Jasper silhouette.
Hiking Patrol(R) is a digital landscape promoting balanced outdoor activity founded and directed by Wai Tsui. The imprint takes its alfresco ethos to KEEN’s Jasper shoe, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2023. The Jasper “Rocks” version arrives in “Cuban Beige” and “Phantasmal Red,” getting its name from the tropical Tree Frog and Phantasmal Poison Frog.
The “Cuban Beige” colorway sports textured suede uppers with slightly darker overlays. Black mudguards and heel guards add darkened contrast, while gilded detailing and rubber soles are ideal for hiking uphill. The second rendition features black suede underlays and bold red panels that meld nicely with our natural surroundings.
Take a closer look at the KEEN x Hiking Patrol(R) collaboration in the gallery above. Both pairs are available now via the KEEN website.
Elsewhere, Eastern Margins partners with Carhartt WIP For East Asia artist tour.
