“Hey You Guys,” Data just won an Oscar!
Ke Huy Quan scored a standing ovation when he picked up the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Waymond Wang in the critically acclaimed movie, “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
While tearfully accepting his award, Quan, 51, gave a shout-out to “My ‘Goonies’ brother for life, Jeff Cohen.”
Fans of the beloved ’80s flick remember that Cohen played Chunk while Quan was Data.
Their friendship spans two spheres, personal and professional as Cohen is also Quan’s lawyer and negotiated his deal for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

In a recent Hollywood Reporter interview, the “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” actor explained that the film’s producer said, “he never imagined that he’d have to talk to Chunk and Data for his movie.”
Quan added that “Jeff is an outstanding lawyer.”
The admiration is clearly mutual as Cohen tweeted out his delight when the Oscar nominations were announced.

“Could not be more proud of and excited for my Brother, Ke Huy Quan,” he wrote.

Quan also thanked his mother and brother and his wife Echo, who he called the “love of my life.”
Ahead of Sunday’s show, Corey Feldman, who played Mouth in the Steven Spielberg classic, told Page Six he was rooting for his former co-star as well.
“I see Ke as a winner, he’s never stopped being one to me … The Goonies are family. People don’t really realize the depth of that blood, it runs deep,” he told us.
His win caps off an incredible Hollywood comeback story as he’d quit the business and hadn’t made a screen appearance for 20 years.
“For the longest time, I couldn’t get a job,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “Hollywood didn’t want me. There were no roles for me. I spent the majority of my late teens and early 20s just waiting for the phone to ring, and it rarely rang, so I had no choice but to step away.”
