The party didn’t stop at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Stars hit the town in New York City after attending the show at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
Cardi B arrived to her VMA afterparty at Chelsea club Somewhere Nowhere at around 2 a.m., and twerked the night away. She hosted the bash for her Atlantic Records label and a spy told us, “She got on top of the bar for nearly an hour to bootie dance for the VIP crowd.” We’re told she also poured Casamigos and her WhipShots boozy whipped cream into partygoers’ mouths. Her husband Offset stood nearby, and she also twerked on him.
DJ SpinKing spun Mary J. Blige’s own classics “Real Love and “A Family Affair” as the R’n’B legend settled into the VIP section.
Meanwhile, Offset’s former Migos group member, Quavo, partied downtown at the newest celeb haunt, the Mulberry. He arrived to the Noilta boîte with security detail fit for the president. The flamboyant display annoyed partygoers, according to a spy, many of whom didn’t even know who he was. Stars like Chris Rock, Jason Momoa, Kate Beckinsale, Dylan Mulvaney and Olivia Wilde partied at the basement bar sans security.

Momoa even held court at the entrance and mingled with the commoners for a bit. Designer Christian Siriano and his boyfriend Kyle Smith danced with Mulvaney to tunes spun by resident DJ David Katz. The bar, which has hosted Janet Jackson and Guns N’ Roses in its short six months on the scene, has become a favorite of singer Beck and actor James Marsden. They were back for round two on Tuesday, after hanging out there on Saturday night with Jon Hamm, who’d joined Beck onstage for an impromptu performance.

N’Sync celebrated their “VMA” reunion over a private dinner at Chef John DeLucie’s new restaurant, Ambra, in the West Village. We’re told “all five members” left the awards show early to have dinner “with some close members and team members” until after midnight.

Sza was spotted having dinner at Carbone and Diddy celebrated at the Ned Nomad, where he transformed the private members-only club into “a sexy red-lit setting, and even built out a larger performance stage,” a source told us.

Diddy hosted over 400 guests including Blige, Quavo, Lil Kim, Saweetie and Teyana Taylor. Selena Gomez threw her own shindig upstairs in the same hotel, where her bestie Taylor Swift was the main attraction. Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz also popped by.
