Nike has continued to refresh its Air Max line with new and retro looks throughout 2022. Whether it be revisiting classic Air Max 1 looks or introducing collaborative colorways with prominent fashion labels, the Swoosh’s famous lifestyle line continues to thrive. Now, Nike looks to an international favorite, the Air Max Plus, for an orange and gray colorway that suits Halloween perfectly.
This time around, the Air Max Plus finds itself in a primarily gray look with some of its key features outfitted in orange. Its upper opts for a dark gray ripstop as the base with the Air Max Plus’ signature cage carrying a gradient from top to bottom that begins in black and ends in orange. Gray returns at the leather mudguard and heel counter alongside the silhouette’s polished TPU toe cap. The sneaker’s signature “Tn Air” emblem returns to the heel while an orange and black Nike Air emblem lands on the tongue. Black serves as the primary color of the sole with visible orange Air units and an orange gradient at the midfoot where the sole splits.
Release for this orange and gray rendition of the Nike Air Max Plus is expected to take place in the coming months, hopefully before Halloween rolls around. Look for it to hit shelves via Nike and select retailers at an expected price of $175 USD.
Elsewhere in the world of footwear, Nike has officially revealed the Air Max Scorpion, featuring an oversized sole unit.
