Returning for Fall/Winter 2023, GUESS USA has shared its latest campaign centered around its latest evocative collection. Helmed by Nicolai Marciano and Eli Russell Linnetz, the campaign serves to highlight the collection’s reflection on the sense of adventure the creatives experienced through exploring the GUESS archive.
The FW23 range continues GUESS USA’s exploration of the unmistakable roots of GUESS and its place as a storied imprint in the history of American fashion. The campaign for the season channels the eroticism associated with GUESS in the ’80s and ’90s while showcasing the expertly distressed denim and weathered leather offerings conceived by Marciano and Linnetz. For FW23, the wears that make up the collection express staples of Americana with a contemporary edge marked by premium constructions and striking detailing. Culminating in a cohesive range that celebrates the archives of GUESS while defining GUESS USA.
“The third collection we’ve begun pushing the envelope when it comes to the silhouettes and the fit. We are in constant play between leather and denim,” said Nicolai Marciano.
“[In the campaign], the female lead is unearthing the past; clothes that had been stored away for a long time now emerge from crates and are now entering the world after being hidden away. GUESS has always been at the forefront of provocative imagery; I like creating powerful images that capture that,” said Eli Russell Linnetz.
Take a look at the campaign above and shop the FW23 collection when it releases September 15 on the GUESS USA website and at select retailers.
