F.C. Barcelona has a penchant for celebrating its partnership with Spotify through the making of special match kits. And ahead of the men’s and women’s El Clásico matches, the football organization has revealed its brand new threads that salute Spanish artist ROSALÍA and her success.
The singer-songwriter ran up the listening numbers as was dubbed the most-streamed Spanish artist in the world on Spotify. Her album MOTOMAMI was streamed over 1.8 billion times statistics show that Spotify listeners have added ROSALÍA tracks to more than 150 million user-generated playlists. “Yet again our collaboration with Spotify has taken things to the next level”, Juli Guiu, VP Marketing of F.C. Barcelona said. “Seeing such a renowned artist as ROSALÍA on the beloved Barça jersey is a wonderful surprise for our fans around the world. Music and football form a special partnership with a long future ahead of them and we are happy to add another chapter to the story alongside the world’s most popular music streaming platform, Spotify.”
The limited-edition jersey will be available to the public in two versions. Both are styled with F.C. Barcelona‘s signature blue and red stripes and feature ROSALÍA‘s MOTOMAMI logo printed across the chest. The first is limited to 1899 units and will come with premium packaging while the second will come in a run of 11 men’s and 11 women’s versions — all of which are individually numbered and signed by all of the players that start the aforementioned El Clásico atches.
